💎 Focus for This Week:

You're So Special.

The most obvious red flag? Flattery paired with a request. When someone tells you how "exceptional" and "elite" you are, and then immediately pushes for a decision... congratulations! You've discovered the equivalent of quicksand with a welcome mat!

Protect yourself from flattery-based manipulation:
Recognize when "exclusivity" is just fancy bait (None of us are that special).

Create a mental "cooling off pause" after receiving unusual praise (Your ego can wait 24 hours).

Remember:
We feel a subtle obligation to reciprocate good feelings. Just ask the doctors who bought luxury condos in “Nowheresville!”

The danger follows this sequence:
flattery → trust → request → compliance → regret → explaining to your spouse where the money went.

Turn YOUR "Flattery Radar" on!
Because nothing says "financial regret" quite like purchasing decisions made by your ego.

🤍 Your Quiet Reminder:

This is perhaps worth a discussion with your team.
